Quebrada Verde Cabins

DESCRIPTION

It is about the remodeling of 4 cabins located on the shore of Lake Llanquihue, with a local architectural style from southern Chile.

They have a rustic appearance, but elegant at the same time, collecting original prototypes of Chiloé architecture, as a recognition of the characteristic architecture of the ancestral peoples of the region, fused with that of the settlers who arrived in the area.

Built with 70% recycled wood, from old sheds found in nearby fields. Mainly reused woods, taking on new life and that, at the same time, give us really warm environments.

They are mainly clad with larch wood shingles, also recycled, exposed oak and laurel structures, mañío floors recovered from old houses, thermopanel windows, and projected cellulose thermo-acoustic insulation, elements that give it a high character. energy efficiency, and at the same time demonstrating our commitment to caring for the environment.
