El Volcán House

DESCRIPTION

It is a 1-story house plus a loft, located within the El Volcán campsite, in the Pumalín National Park. It is an existing house that was remodeled as a park ranger's house and to function both as an information office. The original shape of the house was maintained, modifying the interior layout and changing the interior and some exterior cladding.

The roof is mainly composed of exposed trusses in native wood. Exterior cladding of walls based on larch tiles.

For the roof, larch tiles were used, combined to a lesser extent with Zincalum plates.
