Las Rosas House

DESCRIPTION

2-story house located in the Las Rosas Estate, 5km from the town of El Amarillo, in the commune of Chaitén. It is a house that is located on a hillside, the one that leans over it.

It was mainly built in a structure of pine wood walls. The interior walls in general were lined with grooved pine wood, as in the old houses in the area. The roof is made up of exposed trusses and trusses in recycled oak wood, as well as exposed beams in the living-dining room sector. For the interior pavements, a tongue and groove floor was used mainly. Exterior cladding based on oak tingle combined with recycled larch tiles on the lower walls. Roof composed mainly of larch shingles combined to a lesser extent by prepainted Zincalum plates. Tecma raulí wooden windows.
